Ashley Mia Bequette, known professionally as Kyaazu(also stylized kyaazu), is a Polish-Brazilian producer, rapper, singer and songwriter born in Olkusz, Poland. She is primarily associated with underground internet rap scenes and is a recording artist affiliated with Bebo Records and the Neon Radio collective.

Her work blends experimental hip-hop, underground internet rap, and electronic influences. She first began releasing music under the alias Bunamesk, later briefly adopting DJ Konata before formally launching the Kyaazu project in 2025.

Biography   [edit source]

Kyaazu was born in Olkusz, Poland, later becoming based between Tenczynek and Kraków. She began experimenting with music production around 2020–2021, initially creating remix projects, compilations, and reinterpretations of existing hip-hop albums.

Among her earliest known projects were unofficial remix compilations such as Beware the Veteran, a reinterpretation of Veteran by JPEGMAFIA, and Spirits Over the Horizon, inspired by Kanye West's Donda. These projects circulated primarily within small online communities and marked her first steps into underground production.

During this period she operated under the alias Bunamesk, releasing experimental material across internet platforms. Documentation of many early works remains limited, and some recordings are believed to have been remastered or altered in later years.

History   [edit source]

2020–2022: Early Work and Underground Releases   [edit source]

Between 2020 and early 2022, kyaazu produced experimental underground material under multiple aliases. Much of this work circulated informally online, often through community platforms and limited distribution channels.

Some of these early recordings were later referenced or reworked during later projects, although the full scope of these releases remains partially undocumented.

2022–2023: Salvation and Hollow Pop Era   [edit source]

From early 2022 until April 2023, kyaazu worked on the mixtape Salvation, a project she later referenced publicly as one of her first larger creative efforts.

Following this, she began work on a project known as Hollow Pop, also referred to within some communities as WBC or (Un)Known (Un)Found. An early EP version briefly appeared on Bandcamp before being removed. The material was later heavily reworked by producer Tornex, resulting in multiple iterations of the project circulating within underground circles.

2023: Autistic Bands Clique   [edit source]

Around 2023, kyaazu became connected with the underground collective Autistic Bands Clique (ABC) after meeting collaborators through an online Discord community.

During this period the collective released Autistic Money Bands, a five-track EP created collaboratively by members of the group. kyaazu contributed production and creative input to the project. The EP was later deleted in September 2023 and remains largely unavailable.

Despite the collective's short lifespan, the collaboration helped establish kyaazu within a small network of underground internet artists and producers.

2024–2025: DJ Konata and SMKM   [edit source]

Following a temporary break from music activity, she returned using the alias DJ Konata. During this time she collaborated with producer Tornex on the mixtape SMKM (often abbreviated from Sh*, Might Kill Myself*).

The project represented a shift toward darker experimental production and collaborative songwriting.

2025-present: Kyaazu Project and Bebo Records   [edit source]

In 2025 she formally adopted the Kyaazu name and began releasing her modern catalog of singles.

On July 1, 2025, she released the single silent nights, marking the beginning of her official solo discography under the name.

During this period she also began developing a project titled soul of rose, which initially experimented with jazz-influenced production. The concept later evolved into a larger mixtape project titled Mixtape Named After Sakuya Izayoi.

Around the same time she signed with Bebo Records, a label founded by 8lak3_. The two would later collaborate on multiple tracks, including several unreleased recordings associated with ongoing projects.

Her 2025 singles were released across several affiliated imprints including Bebo Records, Autistic Bands Clique (ABC) (Autistic Bands Clique Production), and later Neon Radio (NRR) following the Neon Radio rebrand.

This part of the Bebopedia is unfinished, releases from members of Bebo Records may have been released and are not mentioned.

Connections and Collective Work   [edit source]

Kyaazu is considered one of the early creative members associated with the Neon Radio collective and its later label structure.

Much of her work is tied to collaborative underground production communities, with long-term working relationships among artists and producers active in online music scenes.

Influences   [edit source]

Kyaazu’s early production work drew influence from mainstream hip-hop and experimental rap, particularly artists associated with internet-driven hip-hop movements. Her remix compilations and reinterpretation projects reflected an interest in recontextualizing existing rap albums through alternative production styles.

Over time her sound evolved toward a mix of underground rap, experimental electronic textures, and jazz-influenced instrumentals.
