The easel stands alone Against the soft shade of the cliff side A blank canvas, An open mind. The clouds blur into the teal horizon, As the mid-day draft, Ruffles the oak’s leaves, The greenery is heavenly. These rocks around me, Shape into the brush I paint with. This fabulous feeling fills, The glorious field The depiction takes me in, I lose all worries I once had. As my handle begins to flow. ~ May 3, 2023
